Rainwater grates are often made by welding flat steel and twisted square steel or flat steel.It has the characteristics of beautiful appearance,excellent drainage effect,high strength,diverse specifications,and low cost,therefore,steel grating rainwater grates are widely used.With the advancement of technology,a new type of composite material water grate has emerged,which uses resin or plastic as reinforcement material for steel bars and inorganic fillers for reinforcement.This composite water grate has the advantages of light weight and low cost compared to cast iron water grates,but its strength is not as high as cast iron water grates.

　　Selection of rainwater grate size:

　　(1)The direction of the flat steel is the load-bearing(support)direction,and the length L of the flat steel is determined by leaving a gap according to the width of the ditch(well).

　　(2)Arrange according to the length of the groove,take a standard board width of 995mm that meets the processing modulus,and leave a gap of 5mm between the boards.

　　(3)The remaining part of the ditch(well)with a length of less than 1 meter shall be sized according to the model.

　　(4)Select the steel grating plate model based on the width of the ditch(well)and the bearing requirements.

　　(5)It is recommended to choose standard sizes for design and construction.Various sizes can be designed and manufactured according to user requirements or have other functions
